Social Media Code of Conduct
People use social media to share their experiences and to raise awareness about issues that are important to them. Opinions that differ from your own may be expressed, sometimes leading to important conversations on difficult topics. A proper balance of needs, safety, and interests of a multifaceted community needs to be maintained, and to achieve this we may remove certain kinds of sensitive content. Safety: it’s a priority to Dimond Center that it’s visitors feel safe and protected, be it on site or online. Please help us keep you safe by not posting personal information (email, address, phone, etc) either belonging to you or to others. In an effort to create a safe and secure community any of the following posts will be removed and the user possibly banned: threatening language referring to public and personal safety; promotion of self-injury or suicide; bullying or harassment in any form; any content that threatens or promote sexual violence or exploitation.
Respect: social media is a wonderful platform for people to share their experiences and to raise awareness about important issues. To help balance the needs, safety, and interests of a diverse community, however, Dimond Center may remove certain kinds of sensitive content. The content that may be removed: containing direct attacks on people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, political affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender, or gender identity, or with serious disabilities or diseases; violent and graphic content; nudity; inappropriate language.
Honesty: don’t publish any incorrect or misleading information about Dimond Center. Included in this policy is claiming to be someone other than who you are or creating a false account for an organization. Dimond Center welcomes questions and general inquiries.
Soliciting: content in any form advertising, promoting or attempting to sell goods not related to Dimond Center will be removed.
Copyright: Please respect the rights owned by the original creators (branded logos, graphics, trademarks, slogans, etc.). In the case that you would like to share content that you did not create with us, please link directly to the original creator of the content.
